Hi! I’m Luke.
I’m a Certified Interpretive Guide™ experienced in heritage interpretation, exhibit development, historical research, and public programming for museums, historic sites, parks, interpretive centers, and cultural organizations.
My Services
I help organizations develop meaningful ways to interpret history, place, and culture through developing interpretive themes, objectives, and programs, planning exhibit storylines and signage, providing visitor experience assessments and recommendations, and supporting larger interpretive projects.
I turn research and ideas into engaging exhibits, publications, programs, and digital experiences by creating interpretive scripts and labels, designing guide books and brochures, writing website and digital content, and developing educational materials.
I research the people, places, events, and stories that form the foundation of interpretation by conducting primary source research, navigating archival records and online databases, researching site histories, conducting biographical and genealogical research, and writing research reports and bibliographies.
I bring historical resources and interpretation to digital audiences through building websites, creating digital exhibits, recording and preserving oral histories, and developing online interpretive resources.
